2010 New Releases

#1 Post by redwoman »

There is quite a bit of buzz around the new CF-52's with Intel's Core i5 processors and Max 8GB RAM capabilities, however those who ordered the units will be dissapointed. The release originally scheduled for April was delayed for unknown reasons. The 52's will begin to ship in June. It is strikingly odd that Panasonic has no plans to update they touchscreen 52's with the Core i5. Specs are avaialble for the 2010 52's here: http://www.panasonic.com/business/tough ... ook-52.asp

Be prepared to see the new 31, 19 mk4, F9, U1 mk2, and a new PDRC this year.

May 12th CF-31 release
May 24th CF-19 mk 4 release
June 15th F9 release
July 14th U1 mk2 release
August 2nd new PDRC release

Specs for all of the above models have been keep under wraps pretty well.

You now have the choice of emissive or rubber keyboard and a 2MP camera!
One CF-52, four CF-18's, 4.5 CF-28's, one CF-29, five CF-M34's, two CF-37's, one CF-P2 and two CF-P1's. There are also two Getac A320T's, one Fieldpac and two IBM Transnotes. Not to mention the AMD 5600 CPU with three monitors and several HP PDA's. Whew! Must quit buying...no, must have MORE! Then there are the weapons...

OMG! I can't wait to get my hands on a CF-19 emissive keyboard for my fiance's machine! I wonder if a Mark 4 keyboard will work on her Mark 1... I'll bet it does!!

It's not mean for Video Conferencing lol its meant to be used as an actual camera for field reporting. The old 19's have had that option for a couple years now.

The Emissive Keyboard is a GODSEND of an option for the 19!!!

It is pretty cool. They are compatible on all the CF-19's. I also heard (don't take my word on it), that they are also compatible on the CF-18's as well.
