The GOBI 2000 CSA software has not been released yet. You should see it become available on the Toughbook SUpport site within the next 60 days.

The infrastructure necessary to support it is going to cost billions and none of the wireless companies are in any hurry to spend the cash. AT&T and Verizon have both said they will concentrate on the current 3G systems and do upgrades to achieve higher rates of transmission.
Do you have a link? I'd be interested in reading this as Verizon has told me they are going LTE for 4G and will be rolling out late 2010 and early 2011
I believe it was on one of the news sites, but it could have been on one of the business sites also. I look at so many each day in the course of my job, if I don't link to it when I first see it, I usually forget where I saw it. If you try Gizmodo or one of the tech sites, I am sure you will find several references.
One CF-52, four CF-18's, 4.5 CF-28's, one CF-29, five CF-M34's, two CF-37's, one CF-P2 and two CF-P1's. There are also two Getac A320T's, one Fieldpac and two IBM Transnotes. Not to mention the AMD 5600 CPU with three monitors and several HP PDA's. Whew! Must quit buying...no, must have MORE! Then there are the weapons...

Playing around on eBay again, I came across numerous Gobi cards going for $139.99 with free shipping.

Title = PANASONIC TOUGHBOOK CF-19/30 UNDP-1 3G WWAN Card+GPS

Check eBay items #290409342462, 290409342611 and 290409342042

I am tempted myself but they wouldn't do me much good here.
CF-30KTPJQAM Mk3 1.6 GHz, 4GB, 500GB HDD 7200 RPM, 13.3 TS, Fingerprint, Gobi, Bluetooth, Intel A/B/G/N, DVD-RW, Win 7 x64.

12 CF-29's MK5, One CF-18 MK5, One CF-19 MK1, 4 CF-51's MK3, 7 CF-51 MK2, one CF-74 MK3, One CF-30 Mk 3 and one CF-52 MK2. Wait, is that all I have? MUST HAVE MORE!

I thought the carriers were all buzy lobbying the FCC to release more TV spectrum to them otherwise all their plans will collapse and the USA will be relegated into the cell phone dark ages. You know, the same schpiel they made with transition from analog to PCS digital...
