WINDOWS 8...WHAT DO YOU THINK OF IT

Well I install Windows 8 on my CF-52 MK1 . It really is different, can't find a damn thing on it
. What I have heard it's more for a touchscreen. I think it would be great for a 19 , 30 or 31. Anyone tried it out yet ??

Hence the reason for my last PM... I put it on my CF-31 on a spare HDD I had laying around... Didn't get to use it for long (because I was busy at work), but it looks pretty basic and lame to say the least.

Yes it is. I just installed it on my 30 and it sucks. W7 is so much better and faster. If Microsoft thinks they got something here they are wrong...like that never happen before

Not that you might not be right (because it's likely you are), but I'd wait until it has a release date at least before knocking it. I mean they are estimating late 2012 at this point... And that's not even official.
One benefit I see immediately is that it supports ARM processors, so it will work easily on mobile devices.
Oh, and it's supposed to make it next to impossible to dual boot anything (or at least, that seems likely).
