Well you could make it work. There is a way but I am at work and don't have the link. PM Mr. Google (Shawn) :D I know he can find it for you.

I was going to just go to Panasonic's download manager and do it the hard way,but it seems to be down and my internet is too slow to do them one at a time.

For the older ones with recovery CD's there is a hack. I don't recall a hack for the DVD's.
One solution is setup the HDD in a Toughbook that you have a working Win7 recovery DVD and swap it to the other unit. Win7 should heal itself. You still need a good COA and serial for activation.
This works well for most except for the CF19. It needs extra drivers that you end up loading manually.

Yep,Panasonic doesn't sell the S9 disc anymore. I would have to get it from Heartland,I might go ahead and restore the drive to Vista Business in my T8, then do the upgrade to 7 and see if that works.

Holy buckets.....you ain't taking the drive out that bad boy. Got to remove the entire bottom to get to it. Somebody do me a favor and download the drivers from the panny site for a S9J with Windows 7 and send me a CD. Highly appreciated.

Acronis Home with the plus pack would be your friend.....
Carefully read the features of the plus pack...VERY handy

Buy the software and use a bootable usb stick.
Still needs activation.
