Well I thought I had left a message and said what all was going on but with all I had going on I seem to have missed it.

The cancer dad was fighting starting progressing faster and he came home on hospice in May, he died on May 28th. I quit my job to be there with him on those last two weeks.

Been messing with stuff around the house trying to get stuff over at Mom's house in order with her as well.

Sorry to hear about your dad. My condolences.

Do you think you will have any problems finding work after everything else is dealt with?

Very sorry to hear about your Dad. I went threw the same thing about 5 years ago. If you ever need to talk I think you know the guys on here are great listeners . Take care my friend

I got some leads on work. I got 20 years worth of pension and 401k on the way so I won't be hurting in the mean time. Finally on vacation with the family. In Kansas now headed to Colorado springs area in the morning.

Back home yesterday, 8 states, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas and Oklahoma. Visited my oldest son in Colorado, he even got to go on one activity with us work conflicted on other days. Went over 100 stories down into a gold ore mine. Then later with out him white water rafting. Got to see a lot of cool stuff.

Sounds like you had a really good vacation.

Did you get to take a sample, or two, home with you from the mine tour? Or was security tight?
