I ran that company for 8 years straight til I left for some legal reasons in 2012.... The next two employees seemed to follow suite and now also work for me directly... Could be reasons for that.... My best guy of 15+ years is Rugged Depots MAIN tech guy that can move mountains (Jack Shurtz is his name)

I was the "assistant manager".... AKA the GM...... The guy in charge of EVERYONE other than the owner...

I started the Toughbook division there and went from $0 to just under $700,000 in sales in Toughbooks in just one year....

Thanks!

Just so we're clear: Not *too* much bad blood... Just some issues that went wrong with Rugged Depot... Nothing personal.... The owner, Chennoor Matthews (Matt) has a heart of GOLD and if it weren't for him I wouldn't be where I'm at now.

Despite the bad business he's done with Rugged Depot I still respect him to a VERY high degree.

Thanks!

Well this is good to hear. Thanx Rob. I'll probably end up giving you a buzz. I did get to chat with Matt. Seemed like a nice enough fella. Talks a mile a min tho.

While Proton Computers might be not bad as Rob says, their eBay auctions make me cringe. Oh well, that's eBay I guess.

Well heck Rob, was nice chatting with you. Thanks for the good word. Eased my mind quite a bit.

Yea User32. I was eying a couple of mk 4 and 5 cf-19's and just can't seem to bring myself to bite. I mean I don't need a hdd, or ramm or an OS gps ect. Shoot, it wouldn't even need to be real pretty. I'm more of a function over looks kinda guy. I just need wifi and maybe blue tooth (for my OBD readers). Almost just a bare bones. But at 400.00 + it's more than I can bite off. Kinda sux when your able to do system installs and such.
