One converter I use a lot is format factory. It will convert a lot of different stuff.

ConvertXtoDVD. Stick in video files on one side and it spits out DVD's on the other in a one-step process. Also has a few knick-knacks like customizable chapter menus and startup screen. It ain't free but at less than fifty bucks it's worth it.
