I have a nexiq at the shop. Love that little toy. Ador, I've tried it on a cf-19 and a Dell 630 so far. The 19 is a full blown active vista install and the Dell is an up to date valid 7 install.

Also thinking about firing up my cf-30G3SZZAM. Under either Vista or XP and then flip to 7 and adjust as needed if needed. So looks like going to have 3 different units trying to get this crap together.
LOL. Actually had a guy try to tell me that I can't set up a hdd to run all programs on one machine, and then pull the hdd and stick it into another unit. With bolth being exactly the same, that is easy. As long as they are close to one another it can still be done. Aggravates me when people try to tell me can't be done when I've done it time and again.

I have 7 pro on my personal CF-30 so any of those it should work fine on. In device manager can you see it plugged in and when you unplug it?

From whet I recall yes. But would have to boot a unit to be positive. Headed to bed tonight. I'll try to remember to check tomorrow. But yea come to think about it yea the Vista at least does. It even finds the drivers for me when I plug it in. I think the issue is in the vehicle interface itself.

If I remember right check your cigar lighter fuse as it's connected to your OBD 2 port. If that fuse is blown your port won't work.

The nexiq at the shop reads them both fine.

Windows on a Mac. Sounds like my kind of mac, lol. I haven't got to get my hands on one to feel the weight in person. How do you like the feel of the air?
