Dang that looks sweet. But I wonder what one with out an OS would run. I refuse to have W10 as my OS.

I doubt you can. It's an Atom processor ( well maybe w7 basic or starter) with only a 32gb ssd. More set up for cloud interface than 7 is. I think that I'd try acronis on it before attempting anything. It would suck if you bricked it.

Sounds like it's U1 or H1 image time then. I know I have the mk2 disk for the U1 for Windows 7 pro.

I'm currently using it for 4 LCD screens with video cards and it's choking.... It's not designed to handle what I'm throwing at it :P. However, it isn't crashing!

The favorite mini I built so far is the Mitx mother board with the AMD A10-6800K. 4.4 Quad core APU. The onboard graphics is enough to play skyrim on very high settings.

I am waiting to see the next generation of APU's that use the faster DDR4 ram. Depending on game they seen up to 10 to 20 FPS difference in using 1333 speed DDR3 ram and 2400 speed ram. So when it's ready the DDR4 versions of those chips should really run good.

Even the lower end AMD AM1 socket APU is suppose to get a refresh soon.

Take a look at these. I would be more interested in running Linux or Win 7.
