Antivirus

#1 Post by Shawn »

Is there any antivirus programs that allow you to choose to IGNORE a "threat"? I used to be able to, but it seems they all are going to automatically erase my bleeping file..Or at best not allow me to run it....

Yes I know I have questionable files........

Avast will generally let you turn off various parts of the program for a specified period of time, from several minutes to indefinitely, depending on the feature you wish to disable.
One CF-52, four CF-18's, 4.5 CF-28's, one CF-29, five CF-M34's, two CF-37's, one CF-P2 and two CF-P1's. There are also two Getac A320T's, one Fieldpac and two IBM Transnotes. Not to mention the AMD 5600 CPU with three monitors and several HP PDA's. Whew! Must quit buying...no, must have MORE! Then there are the weapons...

The best piece of kit I've used for stuff like this was a corporate version of McAfee

McAfee Enterprise v8.1

Not really good for home use
CF-19K Mk3 (KHRAHPE) Core 2 Duo, 500GB S/ATA HDD, 4GB RAM, Waterproof Rubber Lit Keyboard
Upgrades Pending - SSD HDD, 8GB RAM Upgrade, GPS Upgrade Kit

CF-U1 Mk1 - Windscreen mounted with Freeview and GPS OS Maps
