Well got up today and had 16" of the white stuff :blowaway: . I just hate winter and all the white stuff that comes with it. This is the first snow of the season...

We've had snow on the ground for about a month. Not 16" but snow none the less. I try to remember 95 degrees and me almost passing out from the heat...That makes winter a bit more tolerable.

Been there, had that. :) When I was a kid (no, not last week :D ) I lived in Moncton, NB and remember waking up to a couple feet of snow on many occasions. Those storms put lots of cash in my young pockets from shoveling driveways. :D

Out West we have been setting records for both snow and cold temps. Right now we have a Chinook blowing through and it is well above freezing. By the middle to end of this week we will be back into double digit negative temps and snow.

I have no problem when winter is winter. I worked outside all my life, until the last 6 years. When it is winter one day, then a couple days later it is late spring, then back to winter, I hate that! We have seen 20 degree Celsius temperature swings in less that 12 hours last week. Stupid.

I think I took some pics of the blizzard from a week ago. I will post them later.

Well Moncton is about 160 miles from St.Stephen ...my step son lives in Ed, Alberta and he talks to his mom 3 times a week so we have heard about the great   weather you guys have been getting. I have my driveway plowed but its up to the girlfriend to do the rest which is not easy for me to watch her do it but if I don't I will be laid up again  sucks

Yep, I know where you are. :D Right on, that's cool. Is he working in the Oil and Gas industry? Oh ya, it is great. Up, down, up, down. You can make amends to her later. :D

The 3 pics and 1 30sec video were taken from the front door of the shop, not looking out the window of a cell. :) Winds were blowing at about 50K, gusting to 75K and temp was around minus 25 Celsius, without the windchill. The snow drift out front was up past the bottom of the window, over 3 feet.

Yes you guys have had it bad out there. This is the first we have seen snow this year so we are lucky so far. My step son was working in the middle of no where...20 days on and 10 off (big bucks) but to hard on a young family.

Also as some has noticed I have not been on TBT and NBR as much the last month or so. It's because I have been laid up and had a operation so I could not get around very good. Will be off work for another month but at least now I can get up and around now, just gotta take it easy for a while.

Shawn...I still have that cover and have not forgot you, will get it out this week

Here in central Florida it's been mostly in the 80's daytime and plunging to mid-60's at night. Going to church for a Christmas concert I had to run the air conditioner all the way - hot and muggy.

But tonight the forecast is down to 50 or upper 40's, so should have a bit of Christmas chill in the air tomorrow morning. Finally. A bit of y'alls cold weather helps us here in FL to get in the Christmas spirit.

Now let me see where did I put away that sweater last spring . . . . .

We only get snow here about every 5 years or so, then in a day or two it's gone. Hell they even had snow in Egypt this year, first time in 112 years. The pictures of the Sphinx and Pyramids covered in snow are fake, not really fake but taken from a Japanese theme park. Cairo got lots of the white stuff.
