I am glad the prices have come back down but a lot of places they still want sky high prices on it. The local gunshop is mixed right now. He just got in some new ones for 699 and 899. Then still has one of the original bushmaster carbon in desert tan for 1300.


Besides a upper for the pistol build I don't have a buffer tube yet, any brand you recommend?

No, don't think there's any magic in a pistol tube, I've used three different ones depending on what I could find, though I admit the last cheap one I got not long ago was packed with some grit or sand in it, weird. Expect about 30-40 bare tube or 60-70 with spring and buffer.
