25-20 Savage bolt. There is a keeper. My land lady has one. Clips(magazines) Rare.
Model 64/65.....Win. Pistol grip short mag tube. Curved lever. .218 Bee,32-20 rare, 30-30, 32 WCF. My Mom-in-law has a .25-35 under the bed.
Any Remington Model 788. Best commercial trigger in a bolt action. Nine? locking lugs at the rear of the bolt. Magazines are hard to find. Ummmm .222 (mine) 6 mm, .308. and ? $89.95 in 1966.
Hey, howza bout .30 Remington slide action. They made a sweet peep sight for it. Magazine built in a spiral so pointed bullets would not set off other primers. Winchester must use round nose or flat point.
Model 71 Winchester, peep in rear of bolt, .348 Winchester.....the slickest action made. Your model 92 on steroids.
Any Model 94 ...pre-64 RIFLE (not carbine). 25-35,30-30,32WCF octagon barrel. Maybe 38-55....there is a nice old round. Ummmm 220 gr? @ 2200?

Don't overlook Marlin. .25-36, 30-30, 38-55 and .444 later. I'll tell ya a bear story some time.

Blather blather blather. Don't get me started. ROFL....

My regular hunting rifle is a Marlin .444 lever action. I use 300 grain EXP hollow points that were for a .44 magnum. So lever action isn't new to me, just wanting to try out some different calibers and since I reload it can be for some cheap shooting.

Picked up another 92 yesterday. Ranch hand in 44 magnum, feeds 44 specials fine too.

Generic picture, need to take a shot of them together.

Congrats. Would love to have one. It would fit perfect in the holder built into the seat cover in the Powerwagon. Unfortunately, you have to be screened before you can own a gun in Canada. I try and give the gov as little info as possible about myself.

Going to use it for hunting this fall, or just shoot targets and have it hanging on the wall?

Nice unit. Congrats again.

Most of the Canadians I work with on the rig could care less about guns, one crane operator I use to work with will fight you tooth and nail that you will, never ever, need a pistol. There are still a few though that see eye to eye with us Americans. The others are mainly neutral about it. One is looking to bring one home that belonged to his grandfather after his passing a few months ago and put it above the fire place with a few newspaper clipping of his grandfather with two other guys where they killed three bears when there was a bounty out on bears. Think it's some kind of single shot rimfire. He is suppose to send me a few shots of it to ID it. But I think he is going to get some words about it by his wife that doesn't think they need one in the house at all. Even if they don't have ammo for it.

Sounds like you need a crew change. Must be city boys. Food and shelter is all a person really needs, but wants are a different thing. Actually, more than a few. A lot don't think about it much, as we where brought up with them, same as a hockey stick, shovel, pitch fork, etc. I have a hard time thinking of someone I know that does not have a gun of some sort, somewhere. :) A lot of people do not talk about/acknowledge owning guns because they do not have an FAC - Firearms Acquisition Certificate. My cousin has a 30-30 Winchester with a hexagon barrel made in the 1800's. Shoots great. Tried to buy it off him about 25-30 yrs ago but he wasn't interested. Canadians collect guns but tend to keep them and their existence to themselves and close associates. Don't tell anyone, 'specially the feds. :D

Sounds like a good policy, lol. I have purchased two 60% 1911 frames. Single wide and double wide. Taking them to my friends shop and renting his mill for the day to try my hand at them to see what I can do. I got two 1911a1's at home already to go by. I have been wanting a 1911 double wide but I haven't found one for under a grand so I figured I would try it this way. I already have the machinist blueprints for them too.
