New TV tuner card and Orb set up

#1 Post by Rob »

So I went to Frys today and spent $60 on a TV tuner card and set it up on my PC. I split the line going to my Comcast Business internet line (same line that's running the server) and I hooked it up (I didn't even realize that I was paying for basic cable TV until I looked at the detailed bill online lol).

Anyways I got it working great with the software that came in the box. I then set up ORB and that works perfectly too (although you have to quit all the software that comes with the card to use ORB) - My guess is that you can't use two different programs at the same time to access the one TV tuner card.

I tested it using the Sprint card - MARVELOUS! SUPURB!
I tested it using my Sprint Palm Centro online - MARVELOUS! SUPURB!

Now I can watch TV on my Palm and on my Toughbook on the road!
