Basically it sizes and that usually means metrics and I don't DO metrics? Different century. :) I'll look tomorrow.

Don't sweat it, I will find it out. I would just have felt foolish not to ask, if you knew! :D

Gosh, I hope my "unlocked" MC7700 doesn't have an OEMPassword. The rickshaw hasn't arrived yet.

Don’t worry about it if it does.... you're covered...

I am now having trouble with T-Mo giving me some of the information I need to make my SIM work. It seems after selling me this plan. they only want to make it work on a tablet. More on that later as I am working on a dirty work-a-round.. :violent:

The order got screwed up somehow. It was shipping from Hong Kong and it was stuck forever at "item has left for Canada". Now suddenly the tracking number is invalid. It's now passed on to eBay's Resolution Center and I'm waiting for an answer from the seller, so it'll be a while before I get an MC7700.

Cancel it if you can. i got this link from Teo.After jumping through some hoops I swore I would not jump through, mostly because it it natively configured to work with AT&T, and partly because the provider (T-Mo) made some errors, I got it to work fine.

Well it better work on T-Mo, the thing supports band 4. It's also the reason why I chose it since it matches my carrier specs up here too. What sort of speeds are you getting on it? Have you tried to run speedtest.net yet?

I'm going to wait to either have them re-ship the card or get a refund and order from another supplier. I'm not in a hurry, I just want to fool around with LTE even though UMTS/HSPA+ is all I really need.

Finally received it. I installed it on Debian with QMI libraries and it easily worked with my Koodo(Telus) SIM. Surprisingly it would not work with my Videotron SIM.

But get this: I GET LTE ON A CF-19 MK2.

I'll find the time later to get it working on a CF-30.

EDIT: dip switches need to be off-on-on-off

I know it's been said that this isn't supposed to be possible, but LTE also works on my CF-30 MK3 which also runs Debian Linux. Had to set dip switches to off-on-on-on

Speeds usually aren't good with my Huawei module and my indoors signal is weak. Here are screenshots of the speed difference between the MC7700 on LTE versus the Huawei EM820U on 3.5G AWS , both with the CF-30 and the Koodo SIM. Both indoors and sitting in the same spot.

Edit: images updated with tests using the same Telus server instead of the those suggested by speedtest.net which happened to be different for each connection. This makes the comparison more equitable.
