Can't dim display!! CF30 mk2 Win7 32bit

#1 Post by canuckcam »

Can someone help me here... I've installed the hotkey drivers and apps multiple times but I can't solve this issue.

I can dim the display with the keyboard, but within a couple seconds, it'll go back to normal brightness (probably around 500nits) The popup indicates brightness at half, and does not move when I dim/brighten the screen with the keyboard.

Doesn't matter if I set the brightness in BIOS to high/normal.

Problem solved - Hotkey Appendix is the culprit. Uninstalled.

I had the same issue and it was very frustrating. Another work around if you want the hot key driver installed is to uninstall the current video driver, dont restart, and then install the cf-30 video driver in compatibility mode even though its slightly older version, it works just fine as far as adjusting the brightness. it also allows you to have the hot key driver installed.
