I should be plenty large enough @120GB
It uses the Sandforce controller , so that is what I would buy

I just saw this post. Told you I have not been reading in awhile!

This is the same SSD I am using in one of my TB's. It is a very nice drive. Make sure you update the FW to 2.0. Did you already get it?

Nope but it's still on my wish list. Since the prices on these drives are dropping all the time I was thinking they would drop in the new year but was wrong....$229.99 now. I ended up putting in a WD Black 320GB in it, didn't need a big drive but the price was right.

For those interested in installing an SSD, ZDNet is running a series on these drives with step-by-step tweaking instructions and empirical before/after speed comparisons. Also some links to good explanations of TRIMMing SSDs and to software for monitoring and measuring performance:

Will any SSD work in the Mk1/2's? (a SATA II or SATA III?)

As far as I know yes but you will be limited to what ever speed your motherboard will handle . I did have a Intel 320 series SATA 3 in my MK1 and it worked great
