I'm trying to find the parts to change the screen cover from my CF30 MK3 to thge black Cobra.

Can't seem to find any parts on the net for this cover.

Have you ever changed yours?

Ruins the LCD is what I'm told because of heat. But others will chime in.

I'm afraid to ask, but what is he Black Cobra?
If it's what I think it is, it's something a vendor does on his own. Panasonic doesn't make those parts.

Here's what you need for a Black Cobra Toughbook.

I think that is what tech tough came up with name wise when he was slandered by "that other guy who won't be named" Google "techtough black cobra toughbook" for that website. I don't know for sure who you would be talking too though.

So the only one made in black by pansonic would only be for spefial forces like JTF2??

Also, There is multiple tread regarding the RAM for the MK3 but I can't be sure if MK3 (L) can hold 8 gig RAM.....

Thanks

I don't know if Panasonic made black lids for special forces or not.
If they did, they are rare and expensive.
If you really want black, you have two choices.
First is to buy a cheap CF30 shell.. Board members can help with that.
Then either prep it and paint with my suggested paint or take it somewhere and pay to have it powder coated.
Powder coating may seem expensive, but it is heavy duty and MUCH cheaper than finding rare black CF30 lids.

I have seen pictures of the factory black CF-19. But not of the CF-30. I am sure there are a few out there some where, but painting it would be the better option.

LOOK OUT MR BILL, IT'S SLUGGO!
