No Great ideas Toyo
Unless you fouled up with the driver instalation somehow
The brightness worked with litle effort on my part
My screen is set to dim the display after 2 minutes of inactivity, is all your power properties settings good

Yep, all that stuff works. What if I uninstalled all the Panny drivers and see what MS loads, then start over with the Panny drivers?

I think the trick is the order that they are loaded.

Alex, Your not going to believe this! I was adjusting my power options this morning and noticed that I did not have the Panasonic Power Plan installed. I downloaded it and then adjusted it to how I wanted it. Would you believe the screen control works now! It doesn't go back down after a few seconds. How can that be? I am thrilled to say the least.

I right-clicked & saved Robs video..he installed w7-ultimate..bloodyhell. Mad that it works on a CF-30!!!1

Has anyone dealt with a X25M-160gb Intel SSD drive yet?? I've heard the latest firmware adds TRIM. The only problem the drive must be formatted before firmware added or it kills drive.

Just seen this

DONT load the latest FW on it! Intel pulled it off there site because it was causing BOD on some W7 systems. They are going to put it back on when they figure it out. If it is on the net somewhere, don't load it!

I have the Intel SSD-E, but it is a G2 which doesnt have Trim, they just released the G3 about a month ago. I did load the new Utilities program they came out with for the SSD drives. On the 34 Nm drives it cleans the drive or whatever it's called, but not on the bigger ones.

So I'm ready to pull my effing hair out now!!! I finally found working bluetooth drivers for Win 7 (I have Win 7 Ultimate final release installed now...)

I can't for the life of me get the audio drivers to work (SigmaTel High Definition Audio CODEC). I also can't get the touchscreen calibration to work either...

Last but not least I can't get the hotkey drivers to work... Shall I say that The screen brightness adjuster works but it doesn't display the little blue and yellow icon on the screen showing a visual representation on it. (also for the battery status & audio (which audio drivers are broke anyways...).

Any advise?

PS, the ABGN Intel WIFI is working GREAT and the Internal Sprint is working great!

Thanks!!!

Rob,

Just curious, but have you used that CF-30 with an N wireless router? If so, what kind of speeds have you noticed with that ABGN card?

Robert
One CF-52, four CF-18's, 4.5 CF-28's, one CF-29, five CF-M34's, two CF-37's, one CF-P2 and two CF-P1's. There are also two Getac A320T's, one Fieldpac and two IBM Transnotes. Not to mention the AMD 5600 CPU with three monitors and several HP PDA's. Whew! Must quit buying...no, must have MORE! Then there are the weapons...
