What are the exact file name of the bios files?

What is the exact model number of your CF30 as reported in the BIOS?

Go to the control panel in Windows
Click the System icon
What does it say on the Processor line?
Does it say Intel Core Duo L2400 / 1.66 GHz or does it say something a little different?
Life will beat you into submission.

Tact... Are you having an issue unpacking the driver or running UPBIOS itself? Either way... If it is the correct file you have... You should be able to "Run As Administrator" and it will install it.
Rugged Toughbooks of all types... CF-31s, CF-30s, CF-29s, CF-19s, CF-52s, CF-53s, CF-74s, CF-H2... Hmmm... What else can I buy, build or modify?

crap! Just found out that my version of Windows is fake, although the computer is working just fine. I knew something was funny when I loaded the 32 bit version disk and ended up with a 64 bit installation!! I think I get this error due to it being 64 bit install on my Mk-1. Not going good for me guys, ughhhhhh!!

Do you have a valid win7 coa/ serial number? If so, you can download the official win7 right from microsoft.

Hold up, x64 on a Mk1? It can't be they are core duo, core duo is 32 bit only. It's a hardware limitation.

The COA for windows 7 is for 32 bit or 64 bit, they use the same COA.

Its saying I have 64bit installed on this machine, so maybe I should reinstall with 32 bit Win 7? that might be the issue
