Found it on ebay but looks kinda big. has anyone used one and can you still close the door?

Yes but never used it very long because it got very warm and did not want to overheat my Toughbook. I tried it a couple years ago.

No you can't close the door with that one. They do have a smaller one with 2 USB that the door will close.

What are you going to plug in to it?
The PCMCIA / CARDBUS slots have less power available to them than a standard USB port. There are several detailed threads on NBR about these. You can't plug in much more than a flash drive....

On my CF29, I found a small USB hub and mounted it inside where the WWAN sled would go. Connected it to an internal USB port (WWAN sled / Fingerprint reader / etc...)

If you take the hub out of the plastic case, you can get creative . There may be enough room to mount the hub in the WWAN sled cover and have all four ports showing....
