It's fairly easy..
REMOVE BATTERY AND DISCONNECT AC ADAPTER

remove strip above keyboard..slide keyboard towards lcd
.lift the keyboard..hope it isn't glued down, but usually they are.
Remove the stainless cover..directly under it is the bluetooth gps bracket..

Remove the 2 rubber pieces on the lid..attach the antenna and feed the cable down.
remove the hinge cover and stainless cover....feed the antenna through to the gps board.

attach the gps to the bracket and install the ffc cable..making sure of the correct side up.
reassemble

Thanks to Tango tough for the photos.

ok that was not as bad as i thought have it in no screws left over and it turns on. i started and hit f2 and saw that model no. here is cf-CTQAZBM not the same as on sticker on the back. so i am guessing this thing as been pieced together. i set the gps to auto and now i have a com 3 but Google earth does not see com 3 should i download another program to work with this.
thanks pat

Software to verify that the gps communicates is Winfast Navigator.
Many different opinions on other software.

For boating ask Cap on NBR...Is he on here? He is the authority on that..

For biking, hiking etc...I have no clue...

For Linux OS ask Sadlmkr...

For streets and driving many people use Microsoft.. Streets and Trips

Personnally I hate Micro.. Streets&Trips....I use a discontinued program from Garmin.. MobilePC..It accepts updated maps and works the same as the handheld Garmins...
