The CF 31 case may fit, but they are larger and probably won't fit as well as a proper CF 30 case would fit. If you want a loose fit that would be fine.

Jeff, Do you want to duplicate a CF 31 case? Mine just arrived.
My rental rates for the case are very reasonable Ha Ha

Myself I think the 31 case fits better on the 30 than the 30 case. I found the 30 case was too tight

My experience also.

Both cases come with a Velcro strip on the inside of its top and bottom panel and a piece of complimentary Velcro to attach to the bottom and top of the toughbook. On the bottom this isn't a problem, but whenever you want to take the toughbook without the infocase, you have this long strip of Velcro across the silver top. Ugly, and since this Velcro comes with REALLY strong adhesive - decide you want to remove it and I have seen it pull off the silver finish. For these reasons I usually only use the Velcro on the bottom where you don't see it and even helps a bit as a pad when you put the toughbook on a nice wood desktop. With both Velcro strips in use the 30 case snap straps are hard to close. The 31 case is just a little bit roomier height wise (external dimensions seem identical). In either case, one strip of the Velcro is more than enough to keep the toughbook from sliding out the end of the infocase.

Shop for some saddle bags, a poncho and those little cigars ala Clint Eastwood. Supplies in one half and CF-31 in the other. If evenly balanced they are very comfortable over the shoulder, Or behind the saddle....horse, mule. burro. bicycle, motorcycle, scooter you name it. Hangs over the seat while in your vehicle.

Proper bags are cut out to fit the cantle curve which also works for on shoulder next to your neck.....shoulder tired?....swap sides. Easy.

They make a set called four fifths. Built to hold 4 fifths. I guess you could haul four liters instead. (A liter is like a quart, right?) :D (0.946352946)
