Infocase SlingCarrying case for CF-30 and Cf-31

#1 Post by kardan »

Panasonic makes a sling type carrying case that they specify is for the Cf-30 -- and another that they specify as being for the CF-31. Has anyone compared the two? I had a model 30 case for my mk1 Cf-30 that was useful, but fit a bit tight. I broke one of the plastic clasps and wouldn't mind replacig it for use with my Mk3 CF-30. I just wonder if the one for the CF-31 might be a bit bigger? They look identical in the eBay pics but was hoping for advice from someone with "hands-on" experience. Thanks in advance.

Thanks!

Got the one for the CF-31 and, yes, it is just enough bigger to make it a perfect fit. Found mine on eBay, new, for $27!

I do custom leather work......just so you know. :)

$50/hour and $12.00/square foot for material plus shipping. If price is an object try to find some nylon.
Fair for you/ Fair for me.
I chose to NOT be organized.

This is snarky and absolutely great! I can tell you that Jeff's work is bar-none worth what he charges... Some people bark about a $300 cell phone case or a $150 belt..... NOT ME.... Too bad I don't have that device anymore, but I have Jeff's work of art still :)

Thanks again for your P-E-R-F-E-C-T custom work Jeff! :) :notworthy:

Thanks!

Nylon..... PFFFFFF!!!!!! BARF! :boing: :boing:

I understand your concerns. Sadlmkr (Jeff) is a good guy. I have had many dealings with him. I talk to him one the phone regularly. Call him yourself if you want to. You will be an instant friend if you know anything about sheep.

Just so you know A CF31 is thicker than a CF30. Not sure how well a CF31 case fits on a CF30.
I have a leather case for my CF31 arriving today. I am eager to get it and see how it looks and fits.
Life will beat you into submission.
