lol, i know...im leaning more towards the slow part, as the "replacment drive" from the flea market it found the drivers itself, but theres a update from sony for it but will not down load due to " its not set up for this computer" it says....damn sony

This ebay seller is where I buy all my cd-drives from and so far I have had no bad ones. I always buy the lightscribe drives http://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?item=360 ... be&_sop=15 . Now you do know unless you do the mod to the drive it will not load the OS . Myself I would buy the drive that connor has in the BST for $45.00 + shipping...that's a deal. http://www.toughbooktalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=1541 I have 2 drives for mine, lightscribe and one like he is selling.
