a local club has a couple of events (during the 3 months they call summer) , one is "ride for the troops" .
there are a lot of vets in the club ... if memory serves me correctly , there are three wheelchair trikes .
i worked on one a couple of years back ... nothing serious ; a limit switch went south .

i used to ride ... gave it up because of "moving around" ... alaska to alabama --- connecticut to calipornia .
Yea this club is the B.W.C. the largest local children's charity in the area. They even throw a 3 day party each year and proceeds go to the kids. Camp Rainbow. I never miss the run/party. So when something like this happens they can alway count on this C.O.B.B. to be there for support and respect. I hate these rides as bad as I do when we lose a soldier on post here. But what the hey it's a fact of life.

From CT? I kinda grew up there. And as for giving up riding because of moving...... sorry that's like giving up sex for the same reason. Hell I even ride in the winter here. Roads plowed yet or not.

:pat: I know I'm spending too much time on fleabay when I look for the jump up tab on the right of the page automatically. Later chores to tend.

ok ... yeah , i said "PP" ... but i didn't say "richard" ... that is something much different .
 :boing:

weeeelll ...
according to the info i got over in the other forum ... shawn shipped the batteries earmarked for me back to you .
(maybe his low caffeine light was blinking but burnt out)
so , i guess there is going to be a couple of days wait .

numbers ? we don't need no stinking numbers !
i will go back through this thread ... i think shawn mentioned the numbers i would want ... maybe he can type them in here ?

i may need another battery added to the mix (if you have it) ... i have a vet friend (agent orange ... neuropathy/diabetes/kidney function going ape) that i am (going to be) building a CF-xx for ...
pieces-parts type build ... it wouldn't be right if i didn't put forth some effort ... a matter of honor .
i am thinking that a ssd in it is a no-brainer ... that is on the way (used from sleazebay) .
hopefully , it will get figured out quickly ... i mentioned this to shawn in our PM over at the other joint .

in reference to my travelings ...
i grew up in northwest MT .
my traveling required me to pack up and move every week to three weeks ... maybe a month ...
the company supplied a travel/work vehicle and a place to stay .
of course there was the usual "nothing other than equipment provided by the company except for minimal personal effects/clothing" policy .
most of the guys (and a few gals) were married and as such had a home ... i was single and did not own a home .

NO caffeine since Feb of 2016.

That light is glowing RED like the indicator on a Toughbook with a bad battery.

See how I tied that in to be on topic?

gee , yer good .
i found the info :
"30//31 is different than a 19
30-31 you want a 46.
19 you want a 48-58-- 48 is better.
Larry/Bill. I have Larry covered for the 19. Bill sent me some extra by mistake. Send Bill some money for them.
(2) 58's headed your way ."

if you can make sense of it ... so be it .

and there we are ... OT and everything !
say , this is cornfuzzling ... two threads in different forums that sort of meander around .

Ok, no worries. I bounce between the forums all the time myself. Like Shawn and others. I have it under control. I will need an ADDRESS to send said items to. PM it to me young man. And also the batt for the friends unit as well.

heh heh heh ... he said "young man".
___ before downing the first half of my cup o' mud ___
ok ... i'll pm the pertinent poop (see below) .
have not checked ... have you sent me yer PP receivable address ?

the battery for my friend's unit is sort of up in the air ...
i would like to resolve the issue of what machine i am going to *piece* together for him .
this would be way OT for this thread ... maybe i should start a thread for this issue or a 3-way (!) PM/confab ... i think the confab would be better .

sooo ... unless the issue is resolved in reasonable time , the current selection of batteries (pun intended) will stand and be shipped .
