CF-73 Let's talk about price.

#1 Post by SHEEPMAN! »

I haven't had it running yet except to bios. Supposed to be running W7. Weak battery, otherwise looks good except for the painted lid. :D Third party deal...another neighbor is cleaning house.

PM if interested.
Fair for you/ Fair for me.

I'd say it's worth $299 on a good day. $199 in "meh, here's a computer" condition.

Thanks!

Jeff, I can send you a semi complete CF73...No battery or Touchscreen.(.If I Recall Correctly..)

I think I have a media bay battery that works to power it..

Send it on and tell me what you need besides the x-strap which has finally migrated to the saddle shop. It's the only thing on the bench. :D

Rob thanks for the pricing.

I am not going to work on this. Touchscreen works, Windows 7 Ultimate. Stuff happening here re: the TS I havna heard of.

This is one of the Frauleins machines. At a not too much later date spare parts will be included. Just keep a sharp eye out for a battery and you can have a W7 Ultimate. (So what if it's slow) full size keyboard, synaptic touch pad.

If, as the Fraulein said she does, you spend most/all your time on Chrome...this will work for you.

Being the Linux guy, I have live-booted it on two Linux flavors. Runs nice. Ummmm, the green leafy one and LMDE 32 bit.

Does not boot from USB. Wireless is a mini "N" dongle....claims to have a 2100 card inside somewhere. I should change that card out to a 2200 or greater. I wonder if they had a bios upgrade to enable USB boot. I KNOW I can use PLOP Linux.

Just keeping you updated.

J'd...fair for you fair for me...
