FS CF-08 + RAM cradle

#1 Post by wyrm73 »

I was planning on installing this CF-08 as a remote display for a Toughbook under the seat in my car, but I changed vehicles and it will not fit very well in the new car. It is in great shape, with only a couple marks/ scratches on the upper left corner of the screen protector. I can barely see them when the screen is on. Other than that, it is pretty much pristine shape. I have not timed the battery life, but it holds a charge well. I have used it for at least an hour on full screen brightness and it still says 2.5 hours left. In working with this unit, I discovered one important thing for setting up the wireless- it does not like mixed mode on the router. Would continually connect and then disconnect a few seconds later. Worked great on a wireless G only network.

It comes with an original Panasonic AC charger and the RAM vehicle mounting cradle. I don't have any mounting brackets, etc.- just the cradle part.

$150 OBO for everything + actual shipping charges.

I'm interested...

This doesn't need to be attached to a TOUGHBOOK does it? It should sync with ANY laptop/desktop right??? What is the resolution on it?

Thanks!

The resolution is 1024x768. As far as I know it should work with any brand as it just uses remote desktop, but I am not 100% sure about Windows versions. I have tried it with XP and Win 7 for sure. If memory serves, they have to be Professional version or they don't have remote desktop built in.
