CF-VZSU1431U Media Bay battery

#1 Post by R-T-B »

I don't exactly know how this got into my hands (well I do, but it's a long story not worthy of explanation).

Ok fine, to make a long story short I bought this thinking it would fit a Mk2LL CF-52 due to a mistake in my research. I'm wrong, but my understanding is that these are still hard to get. I'm asking $175-150 (depending on how generous/of need you are, heh). Anyone interested? It's brand spanking new and only was opened long enough to realize it would never fit.

Needless to say, uh, don't be stupid like me. Make sure it fits your notebook. :sucks:

Why would you consider yourself stupid? The information available is misleading. I found sites that say it is a CF-31 MK 1&2, as well as sites that also list the CF-52 MK 2&3 as compatible units.

I would say you where confused, not stupid.

GL on the sale.

Rob, are you saying it will work in a CF-52 Mk2 as well as CF-31 Mk2 & Mk3?

Well, I have yet to see any Mk2's that would fit this battery, but then again I usually play with older Mk1 and Mk2's...

If I knew it would work in my CF-52GFNBVAM I would buy it. Are you willing to do a try-and-buy? Send me the battery and if it works (fits) I will paypal the funds to you. If it does not work (fit) I will repackage it and send it back. Just an idea, your call.

If you'd pm or post a pic of the area where the ejectable CDROM on your CF-52 is, I can tell you if it will fit. :)

so this wouldn't work in a CF-30 (mk1, mk2, mk3), but a CF-VZSU1430 would ?

what are the differences between CF-VZSU1430 and CF-VZSU1431 ?

thanks,
