Any used Mac's out there?

#1 Post by Silver Trooper »

I know this is probably blasphemy on this forum, but does anyone have a used Mac (iMac or laptop preferred, at least 800MHz) that they would be willing to trade for either a Toughbook or an Itronix? I have a few things I wish to use the Mac for and really do not have the cash right now to buy one. I would really like to find a 17" G4 iMac or a Mac Book if possible. Let me know what you have and what you may take in trade. Thanks guys (and gals!).
One CF-52, four CF-18's, 4.5 CF-28's, one CF-29, five CF-M34's, two CF-37's, one CF-P2 and two CF-P1's. There are also two Getac A320T's, one Fieldpac and two IBM Transnotes. Not to mention the AMD 5600 CPU with three monitors and several HP PDA's. Whew! Must quit buying...no, must have MORE! Then there are the weapons...

Rob, by any chance would you have any 32-64Gb iPod Touch 3g's laying around? Also, I was looking more in the $100-150 range for a G4 iBook, which there seem to be enough of on Ebay.

I might be wrong but the Ipod Touch does not come with 3G, only wireless. I do have the Ipod Touch 64Gig.
CF-30KTPJQAM Mk3 1.6 GHz, 4GB, 500GB HDD 7200 RPM, 13.3 TS, Fingerprint, Gobi, Bluetooth, Intel A/B/G/N, DVD-RW, Win 7 x64.

12 CF-29's MK5, One CF-18 MK5, One CF-19 MK1, 4 CF-51's MK3, 7 CF-51 MK2, one CF-74 MK3, One CF-30 Mk 3 and one CF-52 MK2. Wait, is that all I have? MUST HAVE MORE!

What I meant was 3rd generation, not to be confused with the iPhone which does have 3G. Somehow I just managed to score a 3G 32 GB for $117. I was looking at my daily list on Ebay, and this one had about 1 minute 30 seconds left on the auction so for giggles (and not expecting to win as there is usually a last second sniper), I put in $117 and that was the high bid (the last one being $102). As some have said, it sometimes pays to be more lucky than good.... :pbjt:

How would you feel about a G4 Powerbook 17", highesst spec one ever built?

It has some cosmetic flaws but works fine and has a new batter + genuine AC adapter. It also has a blu-ray drive burner, though it's effectively useless for playing blu-rays as the G4 is too weak.

Specs is 2GB ram, G4 1.65Ghz, Radeon 9700 128MB. I can throw in a leopard install disc and iwork suite if that helps. I'm looking for a new toughbook, but I actually like this mac for certain tasks, so I'd be hardpressed to part with it for anything less than $225, maybe a LITTLE less if you drop an extra or two, but not much.

Let me know
