Just got a CF-73SCVTSBM (Mk.4?) with 1.86 GHz processor. It has 512MB on the mobo and an empty slot. What is the maximum memory this will take, and what speed(s) will work?

(This is a pretty neat Toughbook :D )

Max is 2GB. 1GB per slot.

But only 1 slot available, right?

I think it's whatever is on you motherboard which you can not change PLUS one slot on the underside where you can add 1GB. I don't have my notes in front of me but I believe you can use any DDR2. If you use faster than 5300, it will be clocec down to 5300. I have a CF-73X.
