Only the cf-73 caddy works with the cf-73

hold on ..let me look at mine......

Want an extra cf73 with caddy??????

On a cf73...push the aluminum sides inward.

I don't have my cf74 here, but if I recall, use paperclips to hold the tabs in..

I use blue saddle nails 1" but paperclips is/are the right answer.
Fair for you/ Fair for me.

The back was sticking and the goop from the padding made it feel like I was tearing the flex! LoL, I got it up and running now and am installing Win7 and Ubuntu in a dual boot for my friend. I managed to do the HDD and RAM install on my own this time. :D

Thanks, but this is for a friend and it is a done deal! A spare caddy would be nice if I owned one of these, but I don't. THANKS AGAIN!
safn1949 I could easily fabricate the padding, but that flex cable would be tough to replicate!!!

The cable is easy to find on eBay,or it was. I haven't looked lately, the caddies are a brute to find,I sold a bunch of these then one day the market fell out.

Donated the rest to charity.
