Port replicator compatibility

#1 Post by Springfield »

Will a port replicator for a CF-50 like this one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Panasonic-CF-50-Doc ... 0722233096

Fit a CF-51 and/or CF-52?

I know the CF-27/28/29 series will all fit equivalent port reps/docks although there are limitations with older USB 1.1 etc. Similar situation here, or no?

As mentioned in the eBay deals thread I'd like to know myself :)

Looks like the same one for the cf-50 I got in my hand and no, the port is on the left side for a cf-51, the cf-50 is on the right side. unless you plan to mod it I don't think it will fit th cf-51, at least the core duo models.......Driller

Ahh... And I think I recall my mom's CF-52 having the port on the bottom... So that would rule out the CF-52 as well...

The 52 replicator is entirely different and will not work with previous models.
One CF-52, four CF-18's, 4.5 CF-28's, one CF-29, five CF-M34's, two CF-37's, one CF-P2 and two CF-P1's. There are also two Getac A320T's, one Fieldpac and two IBM Transnotes. Not to mention the AMD 5600 CPU with three monitors and several HP PDA's. Whew! Must quit buying...no, must have MORE! Then there are the weapons...

Ineptocracy: A system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.
