Camera straps are all cloth/nylon and would fit.

Will the clips fit through the holes Shawn mentioned? (Rugged Depot Picture above)

The split ring idea is better that mine.

And camera straps are a good idea. Also binocular straps.

For the split ring put a circle of leather with a slot in it over the ring as an anti-rattle device. Then clip on your strap.
Fair for you/ Fair for me.

Shawn, I thought about using those two tether loop hole thingy's with a key ring but thought it wouldn't be tough enough although I guess it wouldn't hurt to try it?

I'll letcha know later! :)

Another idea is use the D rings from a 27 handle, and Dremel the needed grooves in the CF53 handle..

So....who has a spare set of handle pieces (brackets?) and a set of 27 Dees?

I'm guessing the D's are not welded. 53 on top, 27 on bottom. (In the picture)

As suggested above. A small round file can do the job. As seen on CF-27 handle and then use the "0" ring.

It's funny because I had a CF-27 handle which I felt I'd NEVER need seeing as it sat in my drawer for 8 years.... I sold it to someone here..... Don't remember who....

Wanna sell me a CF-27 handle???? :P

EDIT: Calling Shawn.... I sold it to you big guy! :P :sucks:
