And so I sent Panny my broken screen yellow tough camera!!

#1 Post by Rob »

And so I sent Panny my broken screen yellow tough camera and I got a new blue one back in return! HAHA!

I broke my camera (showing off, I cracked the screen lol). Anyways, I sent it to them for repair and they lost the damn thing in there depot for ONE MONTH! GAH! Anyways, once I started persuing it further they were DAMN FAST to get it back! Somehow they still sent it to my parents address, but that's okay because they still live there. They sent me a blue one, which I'm not happy about because, number one, I paid MORE for the yellow one (only 30 more, but still). Number two: I wanted the yellow one because if I dropped it in the water, I would be able to see the yellow one better!

With that being said, a waterproof camera that is blue is better than no camera at all! I may keep the blue one depending on when I actually see it (because I'm home now and will grab it tomorrow morning).

All in all, I'm NOT happy that Panny lost the camera for a MONTH, but shit happens! I understand that good things do take time too! I didn't have to pay for it even though i was the one that messed up BIG TIME (you'd think I'd learn by now! ). I think part of the reason they sent me a blue one is because I told them I needed it ASAP, so I'm sure that they just sent what they had (because originally the rep said "we are waiting on parts for your camera" ) - in other words, we don't have a yellow one. I told them to do WHATEVER they can to get it back earlier than the 20th (Leaving on the 18th for my honeymoon!). They gave me a solution and I'M HAPPY!!! THANK YOU PANASONIC!

Thanks

Word of advise from my dad. He flagged timber for a living marking sections for the different fallers to work on. He said "the most visible color in the woods is blue....it's not a color normally found in nature".
That being said for your edification and amusement....I'm not sure if it's the same underwater or not.
MY tools that I want to find have blue handles.

Jeff....full of interesting stories :D
Fair for you/ Fair for me.
I chose to NOT be organized.

Thanks Jeff!!!!!!

I'm just thinking because I've been to the Caribbean 3 times now and the water is so damn blue it hurts my eyes (well, don't hurt, just makes me happy really :) ). Anyways, I'll post back later to figure out if I like it. I don't feel like being without my camera for another month anyways if I wanted to exchange it for Yellow. Plus, my FAVORITE color is blue :)

Thanks
