Does anybody know what threadlocker panasonic uses? It's a red one, maybe the Loctite 262?

Yes, it's red. It's a bit weird as the red one is quite a bit strong.

The Air Force Toughbooks have blue locktite on them. And a LOT of it.
Factory Toughbooks have a small amount on the threads of certain screws. I have seen red(orange) and blue (NO, not purple).
Blue is standard grade and red is stronger and may require heat.
There are other grades of locktite. I have a penetrating grade that creeps into already tightened screws. (Green I think.)
I also have a light grade for plastics. (purple I think)

I found the red one removing the corner guards of a FZ-G1 and it was a piece of cake.
I'm going to try the red one on a new screw to see if it's so hard to remove. If Panasonic does it, so do I. :boing:
