no rj 45 on my G1.

I am working on modding in an extra usb port or 2.
I am very close. I just need to confirm the wiring and the parts to arrive.

Deploying the factory WIM file should not be that difficult.
Maybe a 3rd party program would work. The WIM is the drive image. I wonder if there is a linux based deployment app? Just like Acronis.
