Thanks for your input, I'm in no rush, the 07 brick and screen have been sitting around for months. One of those "Some Day" projects. You have a good week and let me know if you do find an extra replicator.

I am back home now, I will give it a look out in the shed tomorrow. I think I still have 5 port replicators. 4 desktop styles ones with cd drive and one car type with no drive. I would be willing to get rid of the desktops ones but want to take inventory first.

ADOR,
Thanks, I didn't realize there was more than one replicator. If you can when you are out in the shed write down the model numbers of each I be interested in looking them up just so I know a little more about these. Thanks again for the help.

Here are the pictures showing some of my setup's. I found three regular docks, and got thinking I think I sold one a while back to someone else who needed one. I can get rid of one standard dock leaving me two so that will work. Plans later on is to leave one mounted into one car I have for OBD1 tuning on the fly for a project I am working on and data logging. The other dock is after market. I would be willing to get rid of the portable screen, one brick and one dock. That would leave me plenty for what I want to do with a spare brick.

Have to click the link, forum thinks the pictures are too big.

One photo is of the plug i was talking about, it was used by a few cameras. Using that cord it has a usb male end, using a female x female usb adapter turns it into a external usb port.

Ador,
Very interesting, I didn't realize anyone made a car mount of it but that's cool. Are the screen and keyboard (CF-VDL02 and CF-VKBL01), things that go with the CF-07 brick or just something different? Anyway if your willing to sell one of the port replicators let me know what you want and what you think shipping will be and we can work it out. Thanks for all your help, I love the Toughbooks and these orphans as just neat.

(CF-VDL02 and CF-VKBL01) is just the remote keyboard and touch screen. (they made a CF-VDL01 screen as well, it's smaller and lower resolution and used the older power plug) They will work with any toughbook. It's basically a remote cop car setup. With the toughbook in a dock in the back. I was going to use it on a project like it was as a permanent mount in the dash for GPS, Music and Misc.

On the CF-VKB01, they have a 02 Rubber keyboard and 03 newer emissive keyboard versions as well.

The 07 was the "wearable" toughbook.

I will sell one of the port replicators, one of the standard ones with the built in CD drive. I will get back with you shortly either here on PM or by your email, either way. The dock can be used in a car as well, just need a car charger. The other one is just a after market one.

Just a few links to look at the basic parts of those screens and set up's so you can plan if you want one later on.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Gamber-Johnson ... SwHxVW7H-F

My keyboard support is different as it has a screen holder made into it and the screen can fold down over the keyboard.

It takes two cables to make everything work right for the touchscreen, etc on this kind of set up. If not the screen just works like normal though a VGA feed.

I have an extra dock (CF-VEB071W) for the CF-07 brick. Includes a CD (not DVD) drive. $25 shipped anywhere in USA, send me a PM with your email address if interested.

Also have a copy of Win FLP, a cut-down version of Win XP. Seems to run a bit better on these bricks with limited memory. With some effort you can also swap the miniature hard drives to an SSD with ZIF cable interface.
