1. I am tired of giving these $hitter$ away.
2. Get a real keyboard and start hitting the gym. IOW CF-30MK3 or CF-31MK2 or 3. They weigh 9.5 pounds. As in a sack of taters.
3. Yes, I have a CF-19 MK2 that I have touched, yes I would take $250 shipped......thing is people expect lifetime warranty.
4. I'm already into this for 3/4 hour @ $50/hour and just about done.

So I.F please no offense....you hit me at an honest time...............I'm just tired of being nice.

Jeff
WTF even?

On topic: Get a 19 Mk5 or 19 Mk6 and be done with it. They're cheap as fuarrrk nowadays. Almost makes me wanna buy a cheap Mk5, put in a rubber BLKB and use it as a beater.

I'm normally cranky. Tired of the snow. Just pretending to be nice the rest of the time.

Thanks Rob.

I know you're an honest man Jeff, no offense taken.

I wasn't trying to steal a deal from anyone here, specifically, but I've been out of tech for so long that I don't know what is floating around for cheap that others consider old and useless that would I would find perfect.

Like when gobooks were hitting ebay for $35 shipped. Still perfectly usefull at the time, but not cutting edge for the time either.

I did pick up a ix104 for $50, no hdd and a shot battery (+$24), but the the touch screen needs attention. If it was up and running I would use it, instead. I just don't have time nor am I home to fix it. That Flexx goes for $120 brand new and was exactly what I needed, but it has the issues previously mentioned.

IE
one day, when the price comes down to the $300 range on the FZg1, I'll start using them.

I just don't live the kind of life where I can drop good money on a great laptop.

Tell you what though, Jeff and Rob both, you've been putting up with my cheap ass for nearly 5 years, asking questions and taking your time, which I appreciate, sincerely. IF I ever win the lottery, you'll be at the top of my list.
Toughbooks as xmas presents for the whole family, in laws, too.
