Hard drive confusion

#1 Post by Shawn »

Just what is a vertical solid state drive?
Why would the orientation of the drive make a difference?

I think it something to do with how the NAND chips are setup, not how the drive is oriented.
Daily drives a CF-31

I thought maybe if you put the drive horizontal, all the memory would leak out. LOL

Thanks for the info.

Oh I get it.

It must be like a bag of potato chips. If you lay them horizontally, the "chips" fall out.
