Fair price for a 19 Mk6?

#1 Post by User32 »

Having just put up my 19 Mk6 for sale, I found out that they are going suspiciously cheap on eBay.

What should I ask? Had it up for 1500E but then dropped it to 1250 after seeing the eBay auctions, but I guess i'm not gonna get it sold.

I'd say about 900 eur + 100 eur per feature should be fair with VAT
e.g. 1.3k eur with gps,wwan,dock, 250g ssd(1point)
e.g. 1.6k eur with gps,wwan,dock, 500g ssd(2point),16g ram, fingerprint
e.g. 2.0k eur with gps,wwan,dock,1000g ssd(4point),16g ram, fingerprint, two additional batteries

You can probably exchange EUR for USD if you want,
as they seem to have equivalent purchasing power within their respective regions.

So i'm about right with 1250E? My 19 has WWAN and 8GB RAM, plus I can throw in sweets like a dock, the x-strap and second caddy with 500GB HDD.

Do you have GPS? What type of keyboard do you have.. i just sold my mk5 for $750.00 in Canadian funds . It was loaded with only 1600 hours. Did not really want to sell it but a good customer of mine need it for his tree harvester.

Stock keyboard as I broke the non-original BLKB which was terrible anyway. No GPS btw.

To me two of the big selling points are gps and keyboard then you might get that price.

yep, your price is within range of my highly scientific POOMA[tm] estimation model
900+wwan+dock+(xstrap+hdd) would be along 1.2kE gross or 1.0kE net

I think there should be b2b customers - like e.g. car repair shops - which will happily pay that amount.

Ended up keeping it because my GT780 finally died after more than two years of highly intensive use, and the fact that I have a nice desktop now.

Gonna put a SSD in it next month.
