Best news I've had all year although I shouldn't count my chickens before they hatch (Right Jeff?)...

I will have two lines of service running at the same time now and eventually phase out the old 55M/5M fiber line once the new line is in!

The new line is 1GB/600M.... We had 5 - 6M and will now have 600M+

The best thing is that it isn't much more $$$. I had to sign a 1 year commitment but I don't care about that!

I will transition over night of course.

I'll advise once this is complete.

Saturday came and went. Nothing. ATT screwed up the ticket.

Now scheduled for install Monday (Tomorrow) between 11AM and 1PM.

Still not done. ATT is hassling me because I already have fiber service and they cannot have two lines at one address. I've already have a work around.

So "accidentally" cut the existing line.
Just kidding.

Update:

After pushing through a local neighbor that happens to be an enterprise fiber engineer for ATT, he put my new account up the chain a bit and it's amazing that it's WHO you know!!!!

I got a call around 5:40PM on Friday from a rep from the Office of the President of ATT. WOW.... I'm blown away lol.

He said that we should get services rolling this week!

Update:

I just got off the phone with the same guy from the office of the president. He said the address verification is done and fixed up.

I should get a call by tomorrow to re-set up the new line of service

Installation scheduled tomorrow between 11AM and 1PM

I think we're good this time. My guy from the office of the president confirmed that the address verification is complete and good to go!
