Board-wide email!

#1 Post by Rob »

So somehow it took me 31 days to realize that the email wasn't working! Sorry guys :(

I had to change the email address password 31 days ago and I never updated the forum database!

It should be good now!

Thanks!

Well it's more for notifying each other via email when new messages come in so to say.

Also for me to see 1,000 emails a day with bogus registrations... :blowaway: :blowaway: :blowaway:

Although Outlook gets me some NICE rules to filter that crap out! Doesn't mean it isn't happening lol.

Thanks!

I noticed the email was not working but I have been too tired and kept forgetting to tell you.

Thanks for correcting the problem.

I'm an idiot. I was just PMing back and forth with Jeff the other day saying how I was surprised that I didn't receive email alerts and was looking for reasons on my end. After realizing my mail server was fine, I too forgot to tell you.

Team,

I am temporarily disabling board wide email because I've had my Google Gmail account suspended three times now for what I'm assuming is spamming.

I have to fix the spam issue once and for all and not just put a band aid on it. This will take a few days.

My grandfather passed away so I'll be out of pocket the rest of the day today and all day tomorrow.

Thanks for your understanding!

I will post when it's fixed!

Thanks!
