4G Verizon issues with Toughbooks and MC7750

#1 Post by Rob »

Team,

After spending DAYS on the phone with a customer, Verizon and Panasonic we have come down to a rather simple solution to fix a major problem.

Some or all of the symptoms/problems experienced: 1) Cannot connect to Verizon network, especially with static IP on the account. 2) 4G signal isn’t available even though it’s a 4G area and other devices or phones have 4G service. 3) Can’t change APN in the connection manager software – it’s grayed out (This is needed for a static IP).

Simple solution: Run it, reboot and wait 20 minutes within the connection manager program: public_downloads/index.php?dir=Cellular ... e%20Issue/

This is for the Verizon 4G LTE MC7750 card and doesn’t affect any other models.

Thanks!

Ahh yes!. Not sure my friend! Some sort of provisioning I believe. In this case they were never provisioned correctly to begin with.

Thanks!
