Well I'm certainly impressed!

#1 Post by capt.dogfish »

You people seem to have been very busy while I was up in Vermont getting mad cow or something very much like it! The format is very nice and I see I'll have to try learning all kinds of fancy new ways to spice up posts. Very nice job guys, I owe a lot of you PMs for the little packages which have been piling up whilst I have been bed or porcelain bowl occupied for the last few days. The best I have been able to manage is some fooling around with the digitizer on the CF-18, that's a cool piece of gear, I know now why mnem says they're more than just a convertible laptop. I need a Cross Penabled Pen that will work in the arthritic claw which passes for my right hand. More later when I'm at least partially back up to speed.
Thank you all, this has potential, CAP

Well you can sure tell what Rob’s priorities are …. Look at all the smilies

He stayed up late the other night adding and configuring all those things

The forum is fast for now lets hope the spammers stay home

Oh and he made me a Mod so guess what my first “Mod” was
On his very first post "welcome to the forums" I put words in his mouth lol

Thanks Alex :reallysad:

Yeah if spammers get to us then I'll just change the registration to require Administrative approval... Hopefully I won't have to do that though :)

Capt, hope you're better and back on ya feet and yes, Rob and the guys were quick to get the forum off... talk about muscles under the hood! :D

Rob, about spamming, anything in place to cap auto spambots?

Only thing at this point is the image verification that is semi-hard to automate getting through.

As I said before if it becomes a problem then I'll just turn Administrative confirmation on.

Thanks
