gps/wwan power draw?

gps/wwan power draw?

do these two cards draw power even if not actively used or not?

sorry if that question was a bit naive but I haven't found much online for some reason

NO.

If they are disabled in the BIOS then they draw no power.

I agree with rob on the bios aspect. I have an aftermarket customtoughbooks gps in mine, and it stays powered up all the time (if my 29 is on, asleep, or powered off). It plugs into the same CN as the OEM card, but I don't know if it is using the same V+ pin or not.
The draw from the gps unit is nominal... dozens of mah at best, IMHO. realize, however, that I"m probably one of the least qualified people here to answer that question.
