Brand new, sealed box. 3 year warranty. I could tell you but I'd have to kill you... :P

I have them advertised here: viewtopic.php?f=37&t=1299 for $1700 without the GPS (same unit), I'd be willing to let a GPS unit go for only $1700.

That's the BEST I can do :) I sell them al day long at $2049 :)

man, that's a very very nice offer, thank you! (PM sent)
I'm a bit unsure about the port configuration: having the SmartCard option means it no longer has the ExpressCard slot, only PC Card ? is that replaceable ?

How's your new CF-19 doing ?

Correct. No Express card slot. Didn't realize that myself, but I don't care. I don't use any of those ports anyways.

It's doing great! Still trying to figure out if I want to upgrade to Windows 7. XP has a few cavets that I don't like which I ALSO forgot about. IE8 is one of them :(

Other than that, great! It's all hooked up and running. I don't know why, but the external resolution on my 2nd LCD only goes to 720P, not 1920x1200 like my C1 did. It may be because I'm using the CF-18 dock?

I'm 100% used to the keyboard already too. :)

that low res might have something to do with the 1280x1024 max external output, as listed in the specs, on the fully-rugged line.
there was a thread over on NBR about that.
could be the dock also, but to be sure, hook it up to the CF-19 directly.

Yes, it is a limit of the machine.

I got it to go to 1440x900 max. No biggie though.

What video chipset are you running? There are software hacks out kn some of them to alter max resolution.

integrated video in i5-540UM is Intel HD Graphics (IronLake 45nm) Core @ 166-500Mhz, up to 1720MB DVMT (probably with 3GB+ of ram). it should support even 2048x1536 over VGA.
But somewhere (drivers, bios), it is limited by Panasonic. Why ? I would like to know as well.

Here's a link to the thread where a guy managed to get 1912x1200 out of his CF-19 mk2:

I know several companies limited the Intel graphics on several models before. I think it was to keep the resolution down so the graphics wouldn't have to work as hard. I have seen hacks on it before on the 915,945,965 x3100 graphics before so there should be something you can do on this one.

Hmmm, That's nice! Thanks for the link!

I have held off now though because I don't know which driver to use from that INF that he posted on NBR... :( There are a LOT of different options. I don't know which one to use!! :(
