Every once in a while I like to stop and look at what I've paid for parts to build the computers we use in our work. I review my ebay and paypal purchases, and it gives me an idea of what I've paid for parts over the year and a half or so I've been building these. I've done just about a hundred CF-18s, and this is about what the breakdown has been.

Some deals have been better than others, and some taught me lessons on what to buy and what just wasnt worth it.

Not sure if my costs are typical, but just curious. Each represents the range of what I've paid in the past, from the cheapest 1am Ebay snipe in deals to paying almost full retail.
