Cheap China Port Covers

#1 Post by toughasnails »

As most of you know by now you can pickup port covers for many Toughbooks for under $7.00 . I have seen the 18 and 29 port covers and was not inpressed at all. They were not a good color...like a dull color looking and not a smooth plastic finish. Once you had them on and looked at them you could see the difference between the non oem and the oem (CF-18) . I have not seen the CF-19 or 30 covers but I am guessing they are the same.
A few week ago I was told I charge to much for my port covers...mine are the cheapest by a USA/Canadian seller and I give 20% off on all my port covers to all TBT and NBR members. If it was not for me selling these port covers then I would not be ordering parts from Heartlands every month. The port covers help keep the s/h cost down from Heartlands and as most know a lot of the parts we buy from them you can't get on ebay or if we can they are 2 - 3 times the price and they are used.
If any member needs a part from Heartland they know they can come to me and get the part for almost cost price + shipping. See if the china seller will do that for you.
I do this because I love toughbooks and enjoy working on them and because of Toughbooks I now have many freinds all over the world.
Also the guy that told me that the port covers were to high never did buy any from me BUT he did want me to order in a few parts for his CF-19 because he could not find them on ebay...nice guy I was I did order the parts for him...I know a few guys would of told him to see the china seller :lauging:
