I installed Windows 7 on my CF-19 and used the Vista drivers for the buttons, but they're a bit wonky (brightness does not work, flip screen) - should I be "tricking" the system and install the MK3 buttons and pad drivers?

All you need is a Win 7 Pro install disk and the drivers from the Panasonic site. I recently installed this way on a CF-30K and everything is happy. If you need help then there are lots of threads here. I suppose it is nice to have the OEM recovery disk though.

There are ways to remove the Windows 10 spamware, I've had relative peace on my main laptop since removing a couple of "updates" and preventing them from reinstalling. On another machine, without my intervention, Windows 10 reminds me almost on a daily basis that I should "upgrade"
